Long Necklace with Leather Lace and Wooden Beads
One of my life’s hacks is making my own African jewelry when I can. I keep learning and tweaking to my style and what I have handy.
Today I will share with you how to make your own long necklace with
leather lace and wooden beads. It has a bohemian or gypsy look. It’s cheap, quick and easy. You can follow along in the video.
Our cord is the leather lace, but you can use anything; ribbon, knitting wool, fishing line. I am using a wooden charm, my son made during his DT class, Design an日本藤素
d Technology. My beads for looping, edges and stabilising are all wooden, as that is the look I needed today. You can use alternative bead type and colour. Just make sure to check that the beads work for the lace width.
